Likes to be up close and personal. He does have some ranged attacks in case his opponent gets away from him. But overall he prefers to be able to have hand to hand combat. Although he loves to whip out his staff. Which is light and easy to maneuver. Also being of the Hyuga clan and having the byakugan he likes to cut off his opponents chakra. He always tries and cuts his opponents chakra off as fast as possible. So he is skilled in Taijutsu, Very quick at jabbing at chakra points. (in other words he likes to use the technique called gentle fist). He is also (which is unique to Hyuga) skilled in Ninjutsu. Although he is terrible at Genjutsu. Also one of Asanos biggest things in fighting is that when he fights he will always try and block chakra. Other wise he will not strike, with his hands. If he wants to do external damage he will use his staff, although he has been known to block chakra points with his staff on occasion.

Story►
It all began in the hidden leaf village. Ando and Taira were of the Hyuga clan. Ando and Taira were to be the parents of Asano, but this is later in the future. Ando and Taira were well respected within the Hyuga clan, knowing many skills and secrets behind the byakugan. Not many people had been able to master or know many of the secrets but they did. Although the true power of the byakugan still lay in mystery. Ando and Taira were to have a child too, and Taira stayed home from doing missions, Ando continued to do his shinobi duties to be able to get income for his family to be. Ando was very successful and also very well respected within the hidden leaf village. Although this would all change very quickly.
When Ando and Taira were about to have their child, the Uchiha were attacked and wiped out by an unknown shinobi. Some rumors were spread throughout the hidden leaf village that the Hyuga clan was next. Although the unknown shinobi had fled the hidden leaf village already, they believed he/she would return. Ando knew that this was a possibility but Ando was almost sure that this unknown ninja was only after the Uchiha clan and was not after the Hyuga. Although Ando didn't want to risk it, for he knew if this unknown ninja were to come back he would attack the strongest and or his family in the clan. So he fled from the village to the hidden mist village where a friend of theirs was. Although their journey wasn't smooth, a few rogue ninja were inspired by this unknown shinobi that was able to wipe out the entire Uchiha clan and attacked Ando and Taira. Ando was able to fend these futile attempts off easily. They made it to the hidden mist village, but after Ando knew his wife and child to be were safe with Yamada (Taira's brother) he fled back to the hidden leaf village for he knew that the Hyuga clan would need a leader.
A week later Taira's son was born and she named him Asano. Ando hadn't returned from his mission and Yamada took up the role as a replacement father. As Asano grew older Yamada showed him the ways of the byakugan, even though Yamada was nowhere as skilled as Ando Yamada still had some skills that he could teach Asano. Taira also helped with this for she was a lot more skilled than Yamada. Asano learned quickly and when it came time for him to start in the academy he was definitely ready. It had been several years and Ando had not come back. Taira had given up hope that he would return to the family, and she believed that he was killed. Yamada although on the other hand felt that Ando some how survived for a ninja like Ando would not die easily, although his hope was fading slowly with each passing year. Asano hadn't known his father and felt a small grudge against his father for leaving him, his mother had told him he was going to try and settle disputes between the Hyuga clan and the hidden leaf village, but Asano wouldn't listen.
The first year in the academy went by slowly for Asano. He was bored and there was really nothing that he needed teaching on. He learned the basics of the academy easily, for his mother had shown him the academy techniques. Also people were impressed by the byakugan that Asano wielded. It set him apart from everyone else, but in a good way. No one looked down on him really. Although there were 2 kids that had heard from their parents about the incidence that happened several years ago about the Uchiha that were wiped out for plotting against the hidden leaf and that the Hyuga would've done the same. Asano knew these two boys very well, their names were Yashiro and Itakura, and they had beaten him up in the first week of the academy, although their teacher/sensei had come and helped Asano out. When Asano went home after that day he asked his mom if she could teach him gentle fist. Taira didn't feel Asano was ready for that but when he insisted she gave in and taught him. The next time that Yashiro and Itakura came and gave Asano a hard time he left them gasping for air with their chakra blocked. Asano how ever was punished for this he never had trouble with those 2 again. Asano quickly made some new friends and he started to become a comical and energized young man. He really was happy where he was finally. Although he still had this weird urge that possibly his father could still be alive, but he waved it away whenever it came up.
When graduation time came for Asano he was extremely excited. He had proved his worth in the academy and was ready for the real world, or so he thought. When he met his sensei and 2 other squad members a lot changed. First off his sensei made him and his byakugan skills seem like child play, his sensei also made the other 2 look like fools on the training field. After much punching, scratches, sweat, pain, kicking, and some minor jutsu, Asano was hanging from a tree, Naito (who was their girl squad member) was pinned to the ground by wire, and Oto's (who was the third and male squad member) was held with a kunai to his throat by his sensei who was smiling. Overall the squad had done pretty well, but their teamwork would have to be worked on. Their sensei that was skilled in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu had easily beaten the 3 genin. After the practice session he took the kunai away from Oto's neck and helped Naito up. Although he kept Asano hanging from the tree. He talked to them for a little bit and told them that if they were in a real battle they wouldn't have lasted a minute. He especially scolded Asano on the fact that he had relied on himself too much and had not even considered the other two capable of handling the situation. With that he left the squad. Oto cut Asano down from the tree, which sprung another trap, and it ended up with Asano and Oto hanging from a tree and Naito laughing at them. Oto was blushing for he didn't want to look humiliated in front of Naito, but Asano wasn't even paying attention. He felt he let down the team. The sensei came back after Oto had tried to free Asano, and said even though the practice session was over it didn't mean the training was over, he wanted them vigilant where ever they went. The next training session would be much harder. With this the sensei left for real this time after cutting the 2 boys down himself. The 3 squad members conversed with themselves on what the sensei planned. But they all went home and rested after that day.
The next mission their sensei had left them in the middle of an open field with a pack of food for 2 days and 3 tents, and stuff to start a fire. Their sensei had told them that they were to keep this (which he held up a small black leather package) from him. And then he left. The 3-squad members had looked at each other in question, but decided to go along with it. Oto was the one to hold the leather pouch in his pocket. As Naito and Oto set up camp Asano took first watch. It was only a matter of minutes before they saw their sensei charging up the field at them. Asano saw him coming but with his byakugan activated saw that the chakra level of their sensei was extremely low. He told the others that it was a water clone and nothing more. Naito told him that even if it was a water clone it was still the sensei's and would be more than just a clone. Asano and Naito took a position in front of Oto and threw a few kunai at the clone. The clone dodged and threw a punch at Asano, which Asano dodged quickly and with two fingers jabbed into the side of the clone, which the clone blew up into water. Asano looked at Naito with a smirk, and before Naito could reply Oto was screaming at them. Naito and Asano looked over at Oto who was fighting 2 clones, Naito was first to react and helped him defeat the 2 clones. Asano, Naito, and Oto looked around the field and the edge of the forest and saw nothing. Asano who had the byakugan looked through the trees and saw nothing. He was surprised not to see their sensei anywhere. Though he did see something coming up fast, he couldn't tell what it was at first. Then there was an eruption through the trees, and a windmill shuriken blasted through the trees into the opening, Asano shoved Naito and Oto out of the way before jumping out of the way himself. The windmill shuriken passing harmlessly through the camp. The three then heard shouting.
"So you guys understand this exercise yet? Your supposed to hold here for a few days, I'll give you a hint the attacks will come at certain times and then there will be a break. This will test your team work and how well you guys survive."
The 3 squad members didn't like the sound of survive, was their sensei trying to kill them?
These attacks came and went, at the end all three were extremely tired, for they had only gotten 4 hours of sleep cause the attacks came at night. After 2 days of this and their food supply gone their practice session was done although the sensei was letting time pass, though something unexpected happened First their Naito shouted to the others pointing at a figure coming out of the trees. The three formed up in a formation they had taught themselves Naito would cover back Oto would be in the middle Asano in front, Naito would be facing opposite direction, and if Asano would yell for her she would turn around and help Asano. Asano looked and didn't recognize this guy. It wasn't their sensei; in fact he wasn't even dressed in the formality of a trained Jounin. He was tall with dark hair and his shirt was torn and there were two swords at his sides. Asano wondered if this was part of the test. He threw 2 kunai and reached for more, and realized he was out. He yelled for Naito to throw some kunai but she was out too as was Oto. The man that was coming dodged easily and continued to walk towards them drawing his weapons.
Their sensei that was in a tree watching this quickly moved to the closest point in the trees to the man, which was still a ways away. Their sensei didn't know who was this man but expected he wanted trouble. He waited then started to glide towards the man. When the man was about 25 meters from the squad.
The squad was getting ready to fight when they saw their sensei coming. Obviously something wasn't right if their sensei was sprinting towards them with a kunai drawn. Asano yelled to two to back up, when he turned back the man had his sword raised and was about to cut down on Asano when their sensei slammed into the unknown man. Asano ran to help his sensei while the other two were still in shock at how close Asano had come to death. They now knew that this was not part of the practice session. The man beat their sensei off him and got up and saw Asano coming for him. The man had lost one of his swords in the tussle but still had one and swung hard at Asano. Asano ducked under the blow, and with two fingers on either hand hit the man 3 times in succession in a blur. The man's arm, which Asano had hit, went limp and the sword dropped. Asano's Sensei saw this and was amazed, but his astonishment faded fast as Asano took a knee to the stomach and a punch to the face making Asano fall backwards and hit the ground hard. Naito and Oto were rushing to Asano to defend him; before the man got on top of Asano again their sensei had grabbed the man in an arm lock. He yelled for them to run, Oto looked at Asano who was unconscious and then back at their sensei. Naito grabbed Asano and told Oto to get a move on; their sensei could handle it. Their Sensei yelled at Oto to listen to Naito, Their sensei smiled and said I'll be fine this guy is nothing. The 3 squad members ran to the village and tried to find help. They found some with another Sensei and he went to where the 3 squad members had indicated.
4 hours later the two sensei's walked into the village, the one who was the one that the 3 had found was carrying the squad members’ sensei in his arms. He said that he was hurt badly and needed medical attention. Asano got a glimpse of their sensei and hurt badly was putting it lightly, there was a slash across the chest, and it was deep. His arms were cut up and his left arm looked broken.
The 3 waited to hear from the medical office if their sensei would be O.K. but their sensei had died an hour after he had arrived in the hospital.
Oto blamed himself for being a coward. Asano who really had no recollection of it after he had been knocked out tried to tell Oto he was wrong, Naito was with Asano too. But Oto wouldn't hear them and he left.
They were assigned a new sensei, but he wasn't as good and as friendly as their last sensei. The squad members last sensei that died liked to scold them, but he smiled and helped them with problems. They hadn't known him long but he was like a second father to them.
As time went on Asano became a chuunin
With the experience he had gotten from his now dead sensei and from the sensei he currently had he was more than ready for the chuunin exam. Which he passed fairly easily. Also with the training from his mother and now elderly Uncle he had started to learn the secrets of the byakugan. Asano had picked up some traits from his dead sensei, which were to critique people when they made mistakes in combat, and also be very relaxed. When Asano would go on missions when they were fighting an opponent, when the opponent was droning on Asano would fall back on the grass and act like he was taking a nap. Asano was very care free, it seemed. Although when a tough opponent came up he was all business, no fooling around. He would do his attacks smoothly and with his team they were almost invincible. His missions’ success rate was 100%. Most teams wanted him on his team, and with that Asano was able to get a very good living. Although even with the 100% success rate that came with costs. Many of his squads came back beatened, bruised, bloody, and sometimes dead. They succeeded in their missions for the teamwork and leadership of their squad leader. Asano lost several friends on many missions and other's crippled. It was a hard life but Asano fought for everyone who had died in for the mist village. One time though his uncle had died on one of his missions and when he had completed it came and mourned over him. For he had sheltered his family when his father had left, he had helped him and his mother financially. He had been a blessing to his family. Asano believed Yamada to be his replacement father. Since Ando hadn't come back from the hidden leaf village. It had been 15 years since then, and there had not been a word about him. So Taira had assumed him to be dead and so did Asano, although a couple days before Yamada died Yamada had told Asano that he believed his father was still alive, Asano brushed it off because his father hadn't even sent them a letter. But this was wrong.
One day Asano had been called by the Kage to come to his office. Asano came as quickly as he could. The kage asked Asano to take a seat and had something to give him. Asano wondered what it could possibly be. Another mission? Was he to be a leader of a mission? No it wasn't the kage told him that it was a letter. Asano grew quiet really quickly, and then asked who was it from. The kage said Ando, his father. Asano sat their stunned and took the letter that the kage was holding in his hand out to him. Asano opened it up and read it to himself.

I'm sorry that I could not be there when you were born, and I'm sorry that you didn't have a father through your life. Yamada was probably a very good uncle to you maybe even a replacement father. The reason why it is addressed in two names is that fact that we didn't know if you were going to be a girl or boy, so we agreed on those two names. I hope that your byakugan training has been going well. I wish I could've taught you the secrets that I know, but who knows you could be a better user than I was. If you are reading this letter it is because I have most likely been killed by rogue ninja who have been inspired by the ninja who killed off the uchiha. I risked my life so that you could have a more protected life, and I feel that I have failed in my mission to get you back to the home you were supposed to be in. I hope you don't have a grudge or any regret of me being your father, I know I left you but I did it out of love. I wanted you to be protected, and I felt I had a duty to help the Hyuga clan. Asano/Enya please forgive me for not being there for you when you needed me. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me. Please take care of your mother, and I hope for you to become a greater ninja than I.

Asano sat there with tears growing in his eyes, he didn't want to cry in front of the kage but Asano couldn't help it. He put the letter back into the envelope. The kage informed Asano that when he was an academy student that his father had been killed. He had helped relations between the hidden leaf and the Hyuga clan. He was a week away from returning to the hidden mist village when he was attacked by some rogue ninja who felt Ando was a real threat to their operations and ought to be dealt with. Asano thanked the Kage for giving him this message. Before Asano left the kage gave him another mission, and that he was going to be the leader of this one. With that Asano thanked the kage and left.
A year later when Asano became 16 he became a Jounin. The kage felt it right after a 100% success rate of missions that Asano deserved the Jounin rank, not just for his skills but also for his determination, to not let his fathers wish of him to become a better ninja than him. He had amazing skills in thought he could think out problems in the midst of battle, he was also skilled in combat with the byakugan and the gentle fist fighting style. His mother as a reward for becoming a Jounin gave him a staff, it was a Pale and Dark swirled staff that had belonged to his father and she felt that he should have it. Asano treasured this gift and took it wherever he went, into combat or just down the street. He had to repair it twice for once it was burned and another time the end snapped. But no matter what Asano kept that staff in good condition.
After a while Asano received a letter from the kage and he read it allowed to his mom
-Dear Asano
We are short on Jounin Sensei's and you have been requested to become one, this is entirely voluntary but we would gladly accept you to become a Jounin sensei for a genin Squad. I hope to hear your reply as soon as possible.
His mother hugged him and was glad at what he achieved. Asano accepted the responsibility of becoming a sensei. He felt he had the experience of good adequate ninja, and felt that he could teach some lessons with his stick on top of genin's head's. He laughed at the fact for he felt like his long dead Sensei who had for a short time been fun to be around.
With this Asano's history comes to an end.

This is does not require Byakugan to be active. It is the art of fighting to block your opponents chakra points, although it is a lot more effective with byakugan active.
360º field of vision (Passive)
When Byakugan is activated the user gets a small radius of chakra around him/her that if broken immediately warns the user, in short the user has no blind spots.
Telescopic Sight (Passive)
when Byakugan is activated it allows the user to be able to see long distances. Varying from person to person. It also allows them to see through solid objects.
Chakra Vision (Passive)
When byakugan is active the user is able to see the opponents chakra, and their chakra points.
Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin Rank-B
This jutsu utilizes the chakra control gained through Gentle Fist training to release a huge amount of chakra from all of the user's chakra points. The released chakra blocks any possible attack on the user. The user then spins rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a rotating shield of chakra around themselves and tossing away any nearby attackers. The user can also actively control the size and power of the sphere to suit the situation. This jutsu is only effective when rotating, since the chakra itself is not enough to stop a physical attack. If they cannot rotate, the user becomes vulnerable.
Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms Rank-A
This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through sixty-four chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move.
Eight Trigrams Empty Palm Rank-C
the user precisely pinpoints the enemy's vital points with the Byakugan and releases a high-speed palm thrust. A "vacuum shell" compressed using the Gentle Fist is formed to violently push the opponent away.
Heavens Dance Forceful draw Rank-C
When this is active whenever the user hits the opponent he will send chakra through his arms to cause a much more powerful impact. Although this will use chakra quickly because of the amount of chakra that is used with each hit.
Eight Trigrams: Beast Hands Rank-B
One of the secrets that Asano (like his father) found out. The user shapes their chakra onto each of their fingers to make his/her hand look more like a claw. Utilizing gentle fist the user can pierce into the persons flesh easily. Although the draw back to this technique is with every pierce it drains the chakra from the user, so this move should be used as a finisher. The technique can be cut off immediately if need be.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, this is also known as substitution.
Transformation Technique Rank-E
This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object.
Body Flicker Technique Rank-D
This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements.
Chakra Needle Technique Rank-C
After focusing chakra outside the body, the chakra is formed into needles and propelled at the user's target. By using Byakugan, this technique can be used to hit very small targets, such as bees.

This technique creates a clone made of mud of the user. Since its made of mud, it can continue to reform and mold itself back to its original shape.
Earth Release: Earth Flow River Rank-C
This jutsu can transform the ground upon which the enemy stands into a river of mud to throw them off balance.
Earth Release: Earth Pillar Prison Rank-C
This jutsu creates a large amount of rock pillars from under ground. They can then be controlled to surround their opponent and create a bamboo-like thicket of rock.
Earth Release: Earth Style Wall Rank-B
This ninjutsu is used to defend against an incoming attack by creating a solid wall of earth. Chakra is converted to earth within the body and then spat out. This earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water.
Earth Release: Earth Shaking Palm Rank-B
This jutsu is used to distract opponents as well as leave them disorientated. The user performs the hand sign and then slams their palm on the ground. The result is the ground becoming heavily turned up with chunks of rubble popping out of the ground. This distraction can be useful for the user to then make an escape, or to initiate an attack.
Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique Rank-B
A ninjutsu where the user conceals themselves underground and drags the object of their attack down into the earth, robbing them of their freedom. In addition, they can start another attack. This technique was originally used for torture, by cutting into the enemy's neck.
Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet Rank-A
When used with Earth Release: Earth Flow River, this technique can create a dragon-like head to fire concentrated mud at an opponent.
Earth Release: Shooting platform
After the user has performed the right hand seals, the ground from underneath angles and then blasts off carrying the user quickly towards the opponent. Like being shot out of a gun. This is to help the user get in close with the opponent, for more close range attacks. It can also be used as an offensive attack to have more powerful punch.

- Hidden Mist Technique Rank-D
This displacement technique is a specialty of the Ninja from Kirigakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Water Clone Technique Rank-C
The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones out of water. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body. Additionally, water clones only have one-tenth of the original person's power, as stated by Haku. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.
Water Release: Black Rain Technique Rank-C
This jutsu creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.
Water Release: Water Shark Missile Technique Rank-B
This technique shapes water into the form of a shark, which moves to attack the enemy at high-speed with a powerful impact.
Water Release: Tearing Torrent Rank-B
This technique creates water that spirals in the user's hand and fires at a highspeed at the enemy.
Water Prison Technique Rank-B
This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, it is stronger than steel
Water Release: Falling water Rank-D
The user brings the water in the atmosphere down to the ground, so that he/she cause use more powerful water based attacks that take up a lot of water.
Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique Rank-B

It all began in the hidden leaf village. Ando and Taira were of the Hyuga clan. Ando and Taira were to be the parents of Asano, but this is later in the future. Ando and Taira were well respected within the Hyuga clan, knowing many skills and secrets behind the byakugan. Not many people had been able to master or know many of the secrets but they did. Although the true power of the byakugan still lay in mystery. Ando and Taira were to have a child too, and Taira stayed home from doing missions, Ando continued to do his shinobi duties to be able to get income for his family to be. Ando was very successful and also very well respected within the hidden leaf village. Although this would all change very quickly.
When Ando and Taira were about to have their child, the Uchiha were attacked and wiped out by an unknown shinobi. Some rumors were spread throughout the hidden leaf village that the Hyuga clan was next. Although the unknown shinobi had fled the hidden leaf village already, they believed he/she would return. Ando knew that this was a possibility but Ando was almost sure that this unknown ninja was only after the Uchiha clan and was not after the Hyuga. Although Ando didn't want to risk it, for he knew if this unknown ninja were to come back he would attack the strongest and or his family in the clan. So he fled from the village to the hidden mist village where a friend of theirs was. Although their journey wasn't smooth, a few rogue ninja were inspired by this unknown shinobi that was able to wipe out the entire Uchiha clan and attacked Ando and Taira. Ando was able to fend these futile attempts off easily. They made it to the hidden mist village, but after Ando knew his wife and child to be were safe with Yamada (Taira's brother) he fled back to the hidden leaf village for he knew that the Hyuga clan would need a leader.
A week later Taira's son was born and she named him Asano. Ando hadn't returned from his mission and Yamada took up the role as a replacement father. As Asano grew older Yamada showed him the ways of the byakugan, even though Yamada was nowhere as skilled as Ando Yamada still had some skills that he could teach Asano. Taira also helped with this for she was a lot more skilled than Yamada. Asano learned quickly and when it came time for him to start in the academy he was definitely ready. It had been several years and Ando had not come back. Taira had given up hope that he would return to the family, and she believed that he was killed. Yamada although on the other hand felt that Ando some how survived for a ninja like Ando would not die easily, although his hope was fading slowly with each passing year. Asano hadn't known his father and felt a small grudge against his father for leaving him, his mother had told him he was going to try and settle disputes between the Hyuga clan and the hidden leaf village, but Asano wouldn't listen.
The first year in the academy went by slowly for Asano. He was bored and there was really nothing that he needed teaching on. He learned the basics of the academy easily, for his mother had shown him the academy techniques. Also people were impressed by the byakugan that Asano wielded. It set him apart from everyone else, but in a good way. No one looked down on him really. Although there were 2 kids that had heard from their parents about the incidence that happened several years ago about the Uchiha that were wiped out for plotting against the hidden leaf and that the Hyuga would've done the same. Asano knew these two boys very well, their names were Yashiro and Itakura, and they had beaten him up in the first week of the academy, although their teacher/sensei had come and helped Asano out. When Asano went home after that day he asked his mom if she could teach him gentle fist. Taira didn't feel Asano was ready for that but when he insisted she gave in and taught him. The next time that Yashiro and Itakura came and gave Asano a hard time he left them gasping for air with their chakra blocked. Asano how ever was punished for this he never had trouble with those 2 again. Asano quickly made some new friends and he started to become a comical and energized young man. He really was happy where he was finally. Although he still had this weird urge that possibly his father could still be alive, but he waved it away whenever it came up.
When graduation time came for Asano he was extremely excited. He had proved his worth in the academy and was ready for the real world, or so he thought. When he met his sensei and 2 other squad members a lot changed. First off his sensei made him and his byakugan skills seem like child play, his sensei also made the other 2 look like fools on the training field. After much punching, scratches, sweat, pain, kicking, and some minor jutsu, Asano was hanging from a tree, Naito (who was their girl squad member) was pinned to the ground by wire, and Oto's (who was the third and male squad member) was held with a kunai to his throat by his sensei who was smiling. Overall the squad had done pretty well, but their teamwork would have to be worked on. Their sensei that was skilled in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu had easily beaten the 3 genin. After the practice session he took the kunai away from Oto's neck and helped Naito up. Although he kept Asano hanging from the tree. He talked to them for a little bit and told them that if they were in a real battle they wouldn't have lasted a minute. He especially scolded Asano on the fact that he had relied on himself too much and had not even considered the other two capable of handling the situation. With that he left the squad. Oto cut Asano down from the tree, which sprung another trap, and it ended up with Asano and Oto hanging from a tree and Naito laughing at them. Oto was blushing for he didn't want to look humiliated in front of Naito, but Asano wasn't even paying attention. He felt he let down the team. The sensei came back after Oto had tried to free Asano, and said even though the practice session was over it didn't mean the training was over, he wanted them vigilant where ever they went. The next training session would be much harder. With this the sensei left for real this time after cutting the 2 boys down himself. The 3 squad members conversed with themselves on what the sensei planned. But they all went home and rested after that day.
The next mission their sensei had left them in the middle of an open field with a pack of food for 2 days and 3 tents, and stuff to start a fire. Their sensei had told them that they were to keep this (which he held up a small black leather package) from him. And then he left. The 3-squad members had looked at each other in question, but decided to go along with it. Oto was the one to hold the leather pouch in his pocket. As Naito and Oto set up camp Asano took first watch. It was only a matter of minutes before they saw their sensei charging up the field at them. Asano saw him coming but with his byakugan activated saw that the chakra level of their sensei was extremely low. He told the others that it was a water clone and nothing more. Naito told him that even if it was a water clone it was still the sensei's and would be more than just a clone. Asano and Naito took a position in front of Oto and threw a few kunai at the clone. The clone dodged and threw a punch at Asano, which Asano dodged quickly and with two fingers jabbed into the side of the clone, which the clone blew up into water. Asano looked at Naito with a smirk, and before Naito could reply Oto was screaming at them. Naito and Asano looked over at Oto who was fighting 2 clones, Naito was first to react and helped him defeat the 2 clones. Asano, Naito, and Oto looked around the field and the edge of the forest and saw nothing. Asano who had the byakugan looked through the trees and saw nothing. He was surprised not to see their sensei anywhere. Though he did see something coming up fast, he couldn't tell what it was at first. Then there was an eruption through the trees, and a windmill shuriken blasted through the trees into the opening, Asano shoved Naito and Oto out of the way before jumping out of the way himself. The windmill shuriken passing harmlessly through the camp. The three then heard shouting.
"So you guys understand this exercise yet? Your supposed to hold here for a few days, I'll give you a hint the attacks will come at certain times and then there will be a break. This will test your team work and how well you guys survive."
The 3 squad members didn't like the sound of survive, was their sensei trying to kill them?
These attacks came and went, at the end all three were extremely tired, for they had only gotten 4 hours of sleep cause the attacks came at night. After 2 days of this and their food supply gone their practice session was done although the sensei was letting time pass, though something unexpected happened First their Naito shouted to the others pointing at a figure coming out of the trees. The three formed up in a formation they had taught themselves Naito would cover back Oto would be in the middle Asano in front, Naito would be facing opposite direction, and if Asano would yell for her she would turn around and help Asano. Asano looked and didn't recognize this guy. It wasn't their sensei; in fact he wasn't even dressed in the formality of a trained Jounin. He was tall with dark hair and his shirt was torn and there were two swords at his sides. Asano wondered if this was part of the test. He threw 2 kunai and reached for more, and realized he was out. He yelled for Naito to throw some kunai but she was out too as was Oto. The man that was coming dodged easily and continued to walk towards them drawing his weapons.
Their sensei that was in a tree watching this quickly moved to the closest point in the trees to the man, which was still a ways away. Their sensei didn't know who was this man but expected he wanted trouble. He waited then started to glide towards the man. When the man was about 25 meters from the squad.
The squad was getting ready to fight when they saw their sensei coming. Obviously something wasn't right if their sensei was sprinting towards them with a kunai drawn. Asano yelled to two to back up, when he turned back the man had his sword raised and was about to cut down on Asano when their sensei slammed into the unknown man. Asano ran to help his sensei while the other two were still in shock at how close Asano had come to death. They now knew that this was not part of the practice session. The man beat their sensei off him and got up and saw Asano coming for him. The man had lost one of his swords in the tussle but still had one and swung hard at Asano. Asano ducked under the blow, and with two fingers on either hand hit the man 3 times in succession in a blur. The man's arm, which Asano had hit, went limp and the sword dropped. Asano's Sensei saw this and was amazed, but his astonishment faded fast as Asano took a knee to the stomach and a punch to the face making Asano fall backwards and hit the ground hard. Naito and Oto were rushing to Asano to defend him; before the man got on top of Asano again their sensei had grabbed the man in an arm lock. He yelled for them to run, Oto looked at Asano who was unconscious and then back at their sensei. Naito grabbed Asano and told Oto to get a move on; their sensei could handle it. Their Sensei yelled at Oto to listen to Naito, Their sensei smiled and said I'll be fine this guy is nothing. The 3 squad members ran to the village and tried to find help. They found some with another Sensei and he went to where the 3 squad members had indicated.
4 hours later the two sensei's walked into the village, the one who was the one that the 3 had found was carrying the squad members’ sensei in his arms. He said that he was hurt badly and needed medical attention. Asano got a glimpse of their sensei and hurt badly was putting it lightly, there was a slash across the chest, and it was deep. His arms were cut up and his left arm looked broken.
The 3 waited to hear from the medical office if their sensei would be O.K. but their sensei had died an hour after he had arrived in the hospital.
Oto blamed himself for being a coward. Asano who really had no recollection of it after he had been knocked out tried to tell Oto he was wrong, Naito was with Asano too. But Oto wouldn't hear them and he left.
They were assigned a new sensei, but he wasn't as good and as friendly as their last sensei. The squad members last sensei that died liked to scold them, but he smiled and helped them with problems. They hadn't known him long but he was like a second father to them.
As time went on Asano became a chuunin
With the experience he had gotten from his now dead sensei and from the sensei he currently had he was more than ready for the chuunin exam. Which he passed fairly easily. Also with the training from his mother and now elderly Uncle he had started to learn the secrets of the byakugan. Asano had picked up some traits from his dead sensei, which were to critique people when they made mistakes in combat, and also be very relaxed. When Asano would go on missions when they were fighting an opponent, when the opponent was droning on Asano would fall back on the grass and act like he was taking a nap. Asano was very care free, it seemed. Although when a tough opponent came up he was all business, no fooling around. He would do his attacks smoothly and with his team they were almost invincible. His missions’ success rate was 100%. Most teams wanted him on his team, and with that Asano was able to get a very good living. Although even with the 100% success rate that came with costs. Many of his squads came back beatened, bruised, bloody, and sometimes dead. They succeeded in their missions for the teamwork and leadership of their squad leader. Asano lost several friends on many missions and other's crippled. It was a hard life but Asano fought for everyone who had died in for the mist village. One time though his uncle had died on one of his missions and when he had completed it came and mourned over him. For he had sheltered his family when his father had left, he had helped him and his mother financially. He had been a blessing to his family. Asano believed Yamada to be his replacement father. Since Ando hadn't come back from the hidden leaf village. It had been 15 years since then, and there had not been a word about him. So Taira had assumed him to be dead and so did Asano, although a couple days before Yamada died Yamada had told Asano that he believed his father was still alive, Asano brushed it off because his father hadn't even sent them a letter. But this was wrong.
One day Asano had been called by the Kage to come to his office. Asano came as quickly as he could. The kage asked Asano to take a seat and had something to give him. Asano wondered what it could possibly be. Another mission? Was he to be a leader of a mission? No it wasn't the kage told him that it was a letter. Asano grew quiet really quickly, and then asked who was it from. The kage said Ando, his father. Asano sat their stunned and took the letter that the kage was holding in his hand out to him. Asano opened it up and read it to himself.

I'm sorry that I could not be there when you were born, and I'm sorry that you didn't have a father through your life. Yamada was probably a very good uncle to you maybe even a replacement father. The reason why it is addressed in two names is that fact that we didn't know if you were going to be a girl or boy, so we agreed on those two names. I hope that your byakugan training has been going well. I wish I could've taught you the secrets that I know, but who knows you could be a better user than I was. If you are reading this letter it is because I have most likely been killed by rogue ninja who have been inspired by the ninja who killed off the uchiha. I risked my life so that you could have a more protected life, and I feel that I have failed in my mission to get you back to the home you were supposed to be in. I hope you don't have a grudge or any regret of me being your father, I know I left you but I did it out of love. I wanted you to be protected, and I felt I had a duty to help the Hyuga clan. Asano/Enya please forgive me for not being there for you when you needed me. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me. Please take care of your mother, and I hope for you to become a greater ninja than I.

Asano sat there with tears growing in his eyes, he didn't want to cry in front of the kage but Asano couldn't help it. He put the letter back into the envelope. The kage informed Asano that when he was an academy student that his father had been killed. He had helped relations between the hidden leaf and the Hyuga clan. He was a week away from returning to the hidden mist village when he was attacked by some rogue ninja who felt Ando was a real threat to their operations and ought to be dealt with. Asano thanked the Kage for giving him this message. Before Asano left the kage gave him another mission, and that he was going to be the leader of this one. With that Asano thanked the kage and left.
A year later when Asano became 16 he became a Jounin. The kage felt it right after a 100% success rate of missions that Asano deserved the Jounin rank, not just for his skills but also for his determination, to not let his fathers wish of him to become a better ninja than him. He had amazing skills in thought he could think out problems in the midst of battle, he was also skilled in combat with the byakugan and the gentle fist fighting style. His mother as a reward for becoming a Jounin gave him a staff, it was a Pale and Dark swirled staff that had belonged to his father and she felt that he should have it. Asano treasured this gift and took it wherever he went, into combat or just down the street. He had to repair it twice for once it was burned and another time the end snapped. But no matter what Asano kept that staff in good condition.
After a while Asano received a letter from the kage and he read it allowed to his mom
-Dear Asano
We are short on Jounin Sensei's and you have been requested to become one, this is entirely voluntary but we would gladly accept you to become a Jounin sensei for a genin Squad. I hope to hear your reply as soon as possible.
His mother hugged him and was glad at what he achieved. Asano accepted the responsibility of becoming a sensei. He felt he had the experience of good adequate ninja, and felt that he could teach some lessons with his stick on top of genin's head's. He laughed at the fact for he felt like his long dead Sensei who had for a short time been fun to be around.
With this Asano's history comes to an end.
